The James Galvin Foundation empowers Western Australians with sustainable, preventive support that fosters growth and positive change offering a hand-up, not a hand-out approach
Established in June 2010, the James Galvin Foundation is a family-run philanthropic organisation guided by the legacy and values of its namesake. The Foundation’s board is comprised of James & Gay Galvin’s grandchildren, who are entrusted with evaluating and distributing funds to meaningful Australian charities.
Our commitment is deeply rooted in giving back to the communities that have shaped our family. Over the years, we have proudly supported more than 25 charities across diverse causes including disability, domestic violence, mental health, the arts, child health, medical research, and social support services.
As we continue this journey, our focus remains on supporting preventative initiatives and empowering local organisations to deliver lasting, positive outcomes for individuals and communities throughout Western Australia.
